FUCK ALL 2000 OF EM

So, when I was a kid, my dad was in the army. I was 6 years old when he went to Iraq for a year, leaving my mom, me, and my little brother on our own in Germany. When he called us on the phone, I couldn’t even speak to him without crying. I didn’t understand the gravity of the whole situation. I just missed my dad so much it hurt.

If something had happened to him while he was gone, it would have destroyed me. My entire life would have been shattered, and I would be a completely different person today. So would my brother, and my mom. I can’t even imagine the pain and trauma people go through when they lose a parent like that.

But that’s exactly what you all are wishing upon people with this post. You’re saying you hope people’s parents die. You hope people’s children die. You hope people’s brothers and sisters die.

It’s appalling. You guys get extremely offended over the tiniest fucking things if they might possibly hurt the feelings of someone, somewhere. And then, in the same breath, you declare that you want people to die. That you want my father to die. It’s disgusting, it’s ACTUALLY offensive, and ultimately it reveals that your views aren’t rooted in compassion for others at all.

Ohh, poor you and your dad 😦 it’s not like the US army commits mass genocide towards innocent people in Syria :(((((

Seriously, fuck off. Your dad choose that shit, but families in Syria didn’t. Just fuck off. Your dad is no hero.

^lmao FUCK you. How’d you feel if your dad went to war and you knew you may never see them again? These soldiers HAVE families.

Also just because someone gets deployed doesn’t mean they kill people. Also, that person’s dad didn’t even go to Syria — they went to Iraq so your comment about innocent people in Syria is fucking irrelevant.

Just because you disagree with a war doesn’t mean that the people going to war deserve to die nor do the soldiers’ families deserve to suffer loss.

You make so many crass assumptions about soldiers’ intentions and I can guarantee you that that person’s father didn’t go to war with the intention of wanting to murder people but moreso out of a desire to serve his own country.

Soldiers and people in the military deserve our respect.

Honestly, fuck all of you.
