But what if we force them to through anarchic rule?
ACCEPT THE NON-AGGRESSION PRINCIPLE OR WE WILL AGGRESSIVELY FORCE YOU TO
Aren’t you like a classic liberal at best?
nah according to like ¾ of the anarchists on here i’m a FASCIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST
But you’re somewhere between classic liberal and modern conservative correct?
Let’s go over this, shall we? Starting from the top, do I think the government should do the following…
Energy: Fuck no
Clothing: Fuck no
Housing: Fuck no
Food: Fuck no
Universal healthcare: Fuck no
Unemployment insurance: No
Retirement insurance: No
Limited healthcare: No
Safety net: I can understand it on the state/municipal level, but not federal; I’d vastly prefer charities and NGOs to do it but I think individual states would be within their constitutional right to implement it should they so please
Roads: Yes, for same reason as fire protection, although I’m okay with privately built roads
Police: Yes, and I’m okay with private police too
Military: Yes, and I’m okay with PMCs too
Courts: Yes
Anarcho mumbo jumbo up there about voluntary transactions: Yes! The principle described in the chart is perfectly possible under a minarchist state because a minimal government would keep the hell out of voluntary transactions between individuals
Doesn’t that out you exactly where I said? Between classic liberal and modern conservative? Since you believe in all the tents of classic liberal and a very limited safety net?
As I said, minarchism includes those classical liberal tenants (read: classical liberalism as described above falls under minarchism), and I don’t support safety nets, I simply said they’re constitutional at the state level and I can understand the rationale behind them. Understanding something is not approving of it.
So, no, I’m a minarchist through and through.
Hmm, I’ll rate myself
Energy: NOPE
Clothing: NOPE
Housing: NOPE
Food: NOPE
Universal Healthcare: NOPE
Unemployment Insurance: I think it should be the choice of a business
Retirement Insurance: Yes
Limited Healthcare (For senior’s and poor): Yes
Limited Housing, Food, Energy (Poor/Safety Net): Only food
Education: Yes, but it should be done through state level government. Common Core and federal governmental intervention has not worked whatsoever
Fire Protection: Yes
Roads: Duh
Police/Military/Courts: Yep
Anything anarchist: NOPE
Only food? A safety net should provide as much as it fucking needs to but have the intention of getting people back on their feet.
National expectations for education should exist. I can’t understand thinking otherwise, not to say Common Core is good.
